Camping Fabulous reviews

Hu Fabulous Village, Rome, Tuscany, Central Italy

The Hughes Family | July 2026

Nice sized holiday park. Immaculate and clean. Takeaway had great meat and veggie options along with the shop. The restaurant was hot and no better than the takeaway. Lots of fun kids activities and sports offered by HU along with aqua areobics, team volleyball and other sessions you can just rock up to. We took our own motorhome this time round. Last time we stayed in a park owned Hu Safari style tent. Both locations on park where perfect, close to the shop but away from most of the loud pool and evening entertainment. One night they had a band near the restaurant which was loud and very good performers, this however stopped earlier than the 12am times near the pool, so would recommend the tourer plots or site owned accommodation that are further away from the noise. Eurocamp and Roan look lovely, but are all close to the activity and noise. Wonderful site, really well maintained. Air con is a must in the summer, as it hits 40 degrees.

Having arrived at the campsite in the middle of a heat wave, we were glad to see that the campsite had lots of trees to provide shade from the sun. As it was so hot, we spent most of our time by the pools, which were well supervised. The campsite shop had a good range and wasn’t overpriced. The young suncamp campsite staff were always helpful.

The Stonebridge Family | July 2014

Nice campsite, great swimming pool area with good views of Saint Peters Basillica. There is a restaurant at the campsite, but I wouldn’t recommend, as the food was awful. There are friendly staff who are more than happy to book excursions in the area for you. We went on the Rome at night trip and it was fantastic. Well worth the money.

The Park Family | June 2013

We chose the campsite as we wanted to see Rome, but wanted to stay somewhere quiet, and camping fabulous fitted the bill. Loads of activities on site like mini golf, tennis, dance lessons etc. The static caravans and tents are located far enough away from the main bar and pool facilities for it remain peaceful. The helpful staff was happy to explain excursions available in the area and pre book them at no extra cost.
